Renovated beautifully. Comfortable beds. Spacious bedrooms. Excellent location. We enjoyed the downstairs conservatory area with the large TV. Well equipped.

Could have done with a downstairs toilet. The bath definitely needs a anti slip mat. It's a challenging climb into the bath/shower. The radiators need a bleed. We managed to get the bedroom radiators working. A few more towels would be helpful.

Absolutely great location, so peaceful and leafy. You wouldn't think you were so close to Chesterfield centre. Parking on the drive for I would say 4 cars. The house is a great size with the huge conservatory as a brill additional space. I see someone has mentioned the sitting room having only one sofa and suggested another for if the house is at full guest capacity but that would just overcrowd it. It's a lovely room to relax in so maybe a couple of bean bags would help but there's a TV in the large kitchen diner and the extra sofa seating in the conservatory which opens up into the dining area so that works anyway with the sitting room as a chill out snug room. Bedrooms are a great size too and very comfortable beds. There are curtains in the sitting room now rather than the net mentioned in another review so the owner is taking note of some suggestions put forward. My sister's and I had a great stay and will return.
