They say "don't judge a book by its cover". Maybe that should also read "don't judge a B&B by its exterior". The Butt of Lewis B&B may not look much from the outside, but it hid a marvellous, friendly welcome, a warm, comfortable house, with big bedrooms, great linen and a good shower. They also provided a great meal for us at a reasonable cost, which was ever so useful as there wasn't much else around for a meal. Breakfast was fantastic, suffice to say. The house is also only a mile or two from the Butt (marvellous for bird watching) and has great views out over the North Sea at the very top of Lewis. We had a great stay. Thank you.
It would have been good to have seats or an extra sofa in the lounge for 2 extra people

Warm welcome, clean and all amenities as described. Great location. Delicious hot breakfast is served with many options available The home is very comfortable with a sitting/dining area available to mingle with other guests if desired, books for relaxing and a big window overlooking the ocean, good bird watching
