This was one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. And yes, it really is a Wine Cellar, just like the name suggests!
It was spotless, super cozy, and didn’t feel like a hostel at all — more like staying at a friend’s place.
I also met amazing people here who made my trip twice as good.
The location is perfect.
Natalia, the owner, is incredibly sweet, helpful, and funny. She made the whole place feel so homely. Check-in is at 1pm, but when I arrived early she still opened the doors and let me rest in the hall.
I’d read about the single bathroom in the reviews before booking, but honestly it wasn’t an issue at all during my stay.
I would 100% stay here again if I’m back.

Cozy spot up the hill from a lot of tourist sites and shopping. Well located. Sheets and towels were clean. I stayed two nights and one night I was the only person there and had the full place to myself.
Owners live upstairs and manage the small hostel, so it is relatively quiet, self-managed (you can come and go relatively unsupervised), and there is a full kitchen and free washing machine you can use.
Wine cellar location is a lovely idea - but in practice it is a bit musty and damp with some mosquitos. There is one bathroom that is combo toilet and shower, so the floor will be damp (typical in the region but may not be familiar to some travelers). It is quiet so you might not meet other visitors if you’re looking to be social.
The location is a steep walk up a hill, so I would not recommend if you need support to walk or to carry luggage.
They only take cash not card.
