Inn of Saugatuck

Great location, walking distance to everything. Lots of character and charm.

Light switch for our living room was outside our locked door. Old building, so I understand, but that should be updated.

Wonderful location and a friendly and accommodating host. Very comfortable place to stay for a couple of days.

Bed was a bit soft.

Great breakfast

Please upgrade the toilet paper. Also the lock opening automatically at 8 am on our day of checkout was alarming.

The location is good. An easy walking distance to downtown shops. Parking was next to the Inn in a side lot and secure. The Inn Keeper greeted us at the door upon arrival, but then seemed to "hover" around us more than what was needed. The Inn's electronic code front door locking system and room locking system were easy to handle.

Price for value. My husband and I were extremely disappointed in the size of the room, especially the toilet/shower combination. No closet space to hang garments. Breakfast was offered at a specified time, 9:00-9:30 am. -- not negotiable. Other than three types of breakfast bread, there was no choice of an entree. It was some kind of bread breakfast casserole with bit of ham in it. Disappointing.
