Petra Masterpiece is absolutely amazing. The hosts are a kind, generous and lovely family. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail for guests’ comfort. The kitchen serving fresh home-cooked local food is a highlight, and so is the location. The property is just a 10–15 minute walk to the main sites, yet a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle.
Petra Masterpiece is truly a masterpiece and a rare find. We got lucky. It has the warmth of a cosy, family-run Airbnb with all the comforts of a hotel.
Nothing at all. I absolutely loved it and only wish I’d had more time to spend there.

Such a welcoming and beautiful place! Just up the hill from the main town so it’s nice and quiet but still in walking distance. Great room and such a lovely atmosphere, the perfect place to stay to visit Petra!

I had a wonderful stay at Masterpiece Petra and can absolutely recommend it! From the very beginning, the communication was excellent , all my questions were answered quickly and kindly, and I received such a warm and welcoming reception upon arrival.
The accommodation is beautifully decorated, with so much love and attention to detail. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had absolutely everything I needed.
The traditional Jordanian breakfast was another highlight.

An amazing find. Only 5 rooms but each distinctly decorated. Wasfi and his family were exceptionally welcoming. It was more like a home stay than a hotel. They cooked us homemade Jordanian food on both night that were easily the best meals we had in Egypt and Jordan. Hands down. Fresh lamb dish dish on request. They had solid advice on how to best visit Petra, which was a 5 min drive. They packed us up a nice lunch to take along to Petra as we made a 7:00 am start (highly recommended as we had it to ourselves).
You need car to do this place but we’re in our mid 70s and had not problem with the roads in Jordan. Also, my wife had a cold and Wasfi made up a special garlic and honey herbal treatment that worked wonders. Cannot recommend highly enough for independent travelers open to a local experience.
Maps a little wonky to find but once you know where it is it’s easy to get back.
