Mission Beach Lodge

Location, room was very comfortable

Bathroom could do with an update

Breakfast was taken nearby - loved the proximity to beach, the rainforest overhead - so peaceful and relaxing.

We stopped here as a staging post on a long drive, and immediately wished we had more time to just chill out in beautiful Mission Beach. The unit was small and functional as expected, with a proper under-bench fridge thankfully for our cold stuff. The pool was cute. The staff were lovely. The big highlight was Charlie's - the best vegetarian food we found in Queensland (from the Daintree to the Whitsundays) and excellent cocktails and coffee. The jalapeno martini was exceptional. Had we stayed longer we would have eaten their whole menu.

If I was wanting to stay more than one night in Mission Beach I would find a self-catering apartment with more space and facilities. This was as I expected though, and ok for an overnight.

good location close to beach and shops

Sound insulation not adequate to block out noise of child crying in next room - late night and early morning. Other patrons drinking most of the afternoon and into the night, loud cackling female next door. Upstairs someone with heavy footsteps ay 0400 am
