Worse experience ever on booking.com

Le seul point positif était la localisation, tout près de la plage.

We rented an apartment in Constanta for one night (29th of August till the 30st of August). I never encountered such a bad situation through booking.com, by far. This is especially true because of the careless and even insulting attitude of the owner. Even with a 'good deal' (a low price), there is a bottom line to be met. This is the reason why I chose booking.com and not air b and b. Please note the following points: Access: - we needed to wait twenty minutes to get the key, although they knew our time of arrival - the building is not accessible for a wheelchair or a stroller Basic facilities: - no toilet paper, and once told the tenant never answered - the toilet flush doesn't work: you have to keep whatever is there the whole time or dispose of it yourself - no soap to wash hands - unstable warm water, hard to use - only one bath towel for the entire house - AC not working in the main bedroom Hygiene : - the whole place is untidy and filled with random personal items Internet access: - after I asked, a wrong password was sent for the Wifi, we needed two hours to get an answer with the proper password False information publshed on booking.com regarding the place: - "view on an interesting site" together with the photos suggest there is a view on the sea, which is not true - there is no "private pool": the building is an old, rusty and not well-maintained building. It's bad because a 'private pool' is an important hint regarding the standing of the building. In fact, the building is an old, rusty, badly maintained building probably built in the 1960s or 1970s Lack of answers and insulting attitude from the owner (he said I asked too many questions, and sent me of a picture of him sleeping in his car, apparently for me to pity him, and calling me "crazy" because I dared complaining because of the supposedly good deal I had).
