Welcome to the “Thermen-Blick” vacation rental! As the name suggests, our vacation rental is located right next to the Franken Therme in the Külsheim neighborhood of Bad Windsheim (about a 5-minute walk). Completed in February 2025, the vacation rental is equipped with all the amenities you need. You’ll find a modern, practical, and lovingly furnished apartment for one to a maximum of four people (double bed; a sleeper sofa is available for the third person and beyond) with a living area of 45 square meters. Free Wi-Fi and a 55-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels in the living area provide the comforts you’re used to. Sleeping arrangements: The living and sleeping areas, separated by a spacious mirrored wardrobe, feature a fixed double bed. The sofa in the living area can be pulled out into a sleeper sofa if needed, creating up to two additional sleeping spots. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator with freezer compartments, a dishwasher, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, a Senseo coffee maker, and an oven with a 4-zone induction cooktop. Fully stocked with dishes, pans, pots, bowls, and more, the kitchen is perfect for cozy cooking. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a sink with a mirror, a hair dryer, a toilet, and a shelf for storing your personal belongings. A clothes rack is also available for drying your swimwear after a visit to the thermal baths. Parking: Parking spaces are available about 20 meters away for your vehicle. Our Services: Bed linens, fleece blankets, hand and bath towels, dish towels, and dishwashing supplies—including dishwasher detergent. Upon request, we can also provide ironing facilities and a charcoal grill. The small, lovingly landscaped garden is also available for use by prior arrangement. We’d be happy to arrange for fresh cow’s milk delivered directly from the farm across the street—just let us know! Additionally, every Wednesday and Saturday between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., a food truck from a traditional Bad Windsheim bakery stops right in front of the house, where you can stock up on delicious bakery items for your stay. At the entrance to Külsheim, about 50 meters from the accommodation, you’ll find another very special highlight: the “SpeiseKAMMER Franken,” where you can purchase regional products directly from the producers 24/7. Location: Our vacation rental is in a perfect location. Many destinations in Bad Windsheim are easily accessible from here on foot or by bike. Just a few minutes away: Franken-Therme and Salzsee—with the atmosphere of the Dead Sea, a Kneipp facility and graduation tower, the 110-year-old, 36-hectare spa park, a mini-golf course, tennis courts, a supermarket (Aldi), the restaurants “Genusswerk” and “Salza,” a pharmacy, a DM drugstore, and a bakery with a café. About a 5-minute drive or about 10–15 minutes by bike: Franconian Open-Air Museum, outdoor swimming pool, additional supermarkets, more restaurants and inns, and a golf course. Bad Windsheim is also centrally located among many cities worth visiting, each offering attractive recreational activities. Here are just a few suggestions that are perfect for a day trip: Nuremberg, Würzburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bamberg, the Franconian Lake District, the Steigerwald, and much more. You’ll also find many biking and hiking trails around Bad Windsheim. Booking Information: Check-in daily from 2:00 p.m. / Check-out by 11:00 a.m. Final cleaning is included in the price. However, in cases of extreme soiling, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee. Please note: Pets are not allowed. Our vacation rental is a non-smoking property. Directions: Bad Windsheim can be reached via the A7 Würzburg/Ulm highway using Exit 105 (Gollhofen), Exit 106 (Uffenheim-Langensteinach), or Exit 107 (Bad Windsheim). From there, follow Federal Highway 470 past Burgbernheim and Illesheim to Bad Windsheim. Coming from the A9 Munich/Berlin, take Exit 54 onto the A73 toward Fürth/Nuremberg/Heilbronn/Feucht. Continue on Federal Highway 8. Take the exit toward Bad Windsheim/Wilhermsdorf. The train station in Bad Windsheim is approximately 1 km away.
