About this house rental

Surroundings
There’s hardly a more beautiful spot on earth than atop the Hohe Ufer in Ahrenshoop. Just behind the wild and romantic cliffs, at the lookout platform overlooking the vast sea, stands the Seeräuber—a vacation home typical of the Fischland region and the last house in the area. Here, you’ll enjoy an exclusive and idyllic location in the former artists’ quarter. It’s just a few meters to the stairs that lead you from the cliffs down to the white sandy beach. And the lively town center—with its art museum, numerous cafés and restaurants, art galleries, and workshops—is also within easy walking distance.

To the vacation home
Through the Darß-style door and the small hallway, you enter the spacious kitchen area. It’s the special touches—like the massive ceiling beams, the decorative tiled fireplace, and the sunny dining nook—that make the room so cozy. Thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, you can cook and chat to your heart’s content here. From the kitchen, you enter the master bedroom with a double bed and a large closet. The view from the window reveals the wonderful natural scenery, with the Baltic Sea hidden beyond. You’re guaranteed a good night’s sleep here, not least because the sound of the sea promotes true relaxation and inner peace. The first floor is rounded out by the bathroom, which is equipped with a shower. A wooden staircase leads you to the living area of the house, which exudes warmth and coziness with its half-timbered beams and maritime-themed interior. From the sofa, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea and the thatched roofs of the old Fischland cottages. A piano is also available to play, providing the perfect accompaniment to the spectacular sunsets you can enjoy from the living room. Separated from the living area by a Japanese shoji door is the second bedroom, which also features a double bed and a magnificent view of the expansive meadows.

Outside, you’ll find a wonderful natural garden. Thanks to the large property and the native shrubs and plants, you’ll enjoy 100 percent privacy here. With a barbecue area, terrace, and sun loungers, you can relax here just as beautifully as you would at the nearby beach. Bicycle parking and 2 car parking spaces are also available.

Note: The fireplace shown in the photos is not usable.
