The most incredible stay in Ponta Delgada. The home is very close to the city square (5 minute drive, 20 minute walk). The balcony at the back has the most serene view of the water and the hilly coast. Upon entering, the place smelled incredibly cleaned and continued this way throughout our stay. The linens were clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen was spotless and dishes were clean. All appliances, electricity, and water operated well. Literally no hiccups in our stay. Celia's mother-in-law lives next door and was able to help us within 5 minutes of sending her a message. Both her and Celia are incredibly kind and prompt with correspondence. Beds are super comfy! Both rooms come with a fan. The washroom is clean and drains/ ventilates well. We can't say enough amazing things about this stay. Parking is right in front of the home which makes it very convenient. There is also public parking in a small parking lot a few metres from the home. The area is very safe, we were able to walk around at night and independently without issues. There is also a self-serve gas station right across the home and a couple of bodegas for grocery a few metres from the home. This place is incredible convenient, clean, and functional! Our stay was wonderful. The house was clean and welcoming. Celia had a welcoming tray for us and very good instructions about house rules, restaurants and even transportation. Bedroom on second floor has a wonderful view of the ocean. Perfect place for a glass of wine. Also, Celia was very helpful with any questions we had. Overall, great experience.
