Reviews

4 / 10

I should have listened to other reviewers and stayed elsewhere.

I liked the view and the painting of the goat in the dining room.

Even when we walked to the house, there was trash on the path. Then, inside, there was stuff all over, like a light without the cover, a pipe with some cloth in it, unpainted walls, broken wardrobe… And, as other reviews said, the bathroom downstairs is so small that when you are sitting on the toilet, your knees are outside. There is no place to hang the towel even. It is so claustrophobic that I didn’t even have the guts to take shower there. There is no way to lock the bathroom: the hook is there, but nothing to hook it onto. And it feels like there is mold in the corner of the bathroom. There is another bathroom upstairs, but when I opened the door, the stench that came from there nearly killed me, that I closed the door and never tried top open it again. Because there were three of us, someone had to sleep upstairs and despite the closed doors, you could smell the sewage smell coming from the upstairs bathroom. It felt as if the old owners passed away and the new o es wanted to make money without investing a penny into tidying the place up. It could be such an amazing property, but the owners’ greed made it feel like a house from the horror movies. I hope that the managing company and/or the owners remodel the top bathroom into a modern one, and makes the downstairs bathroom into a powder room. Clean up the house of the extra trinkets and it will be a beautiful place to stay.

Clean, comfortable, but unreliable access to WiFi

Clean and comfortable.

The WiFi was not turned on until halfway through my stay. There were not some common kitchen staples. There was salt but no pepper in the pepper shaker, and no sugar.

6 / 10

It could be charming if it was more well taken care of but definitely not there yet…

Location was ok, after contacting the owner my problem was quickly solved, kitchen was well-equipped

House seemed quite neglected, even though there was probably some renovation before it didn’t seem to be nicely done, property didn’t seem cozy nor pleasant to stay

4 / 10
