The hotel is handy for the motorway and the room was spacious.
The self check in is a disaster. We did not receive an access code and couldn’t get into the building. Other guests had the same issue. At 5pm there were no staff on site. We were eventually given access to the building via an intercom help button. But it was a further 15 minutes before the single staff member turned up for work and allocated us a room. Never experienced anything as bad as this in decades of travelling.
