We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta das Murtas! Such a beautiful, peaceful place with a wonderful atmosphere.
Our room was gorgeous, with lovely views over the gardens and the valley beyond. It was such a pleasure to wake up to that scenery.
One of the biggest surprises was the location. We initially thought we would need our car to explore Sintra, but everything was within walking distance, which was fantastic!
A special thank you to Romulus, who gave us such a warm and genuine welcome at reception. He was incredibly helpful and shared some wonderful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. We actually ended up having dinner at the same restaurant twice because we enjoyed it so much!
We felt completely at home here. We stayed for two nights, but I genuinely wish we had booked a third. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable and don’t want to leave.
We would happily return and highly recommend it!
Nothing really! Our only regret was not staying an extra night!

Lack of information as to accessing the car park on very narrow and busy street.
No code sent to us prior to arrival and the contact number to call the property was no longer valid.

Location, parking, pet friendly.
Accommodation itself was charmless, uncomfortable and with a persistent smell of sewage coming from the bathroom.
