We had a wonderful stay at Banana Homestay! The place felt freshly renovated, was lovely and clean, and had beautiful views. Our room was very comfortable.
Hannah was such a lovely host and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’re very much last-minute people, and she helped us organise excursions at short notice, as well as our onward journey, which was a huge help and made everything so much easier. She also kindly let us use the bicycles to explore the local area, which was a lovely way to see more of Phong Nha.
And we’ll definitely miss Hannah’s banana pancakes at breakfast!
Overall, a lovely place to stay with beautiful views and a fantastic host. Thank you, Hannah, for making our stay so enjoyable!
The only downside was the number of ants around the property and in the room, which was a bit of a nuisance.

Beautiful home with beautiful host. We were welcomed into their lovely home. The rooms were large and comfortable and we were lucky enough to secure a rice paddy field view, with a verandah to watch all the happenings. They were helpful and kind, introducing us to their family and having a chat at the outside table. Best place we stayed in Vietnam.

Spacious bed
I could not sleep.properly because of the neighbour's rooster and people 2. Breakfast too small and nothing special 3. The host is too invasive.
