Beautiful Property, But Very Poor Customer Service Experience

The decor is good

The property itself has beautiful architecture and nice interior decor, but unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing due to poor customer service and several issues during my stay. I made my booking several hours before arrival, but when I got there, the bed had not been prepared. The concierge only started making it after I arrived, which left me waiting after a long and tiring trip. I was also asked to pay extra for electricity consumption upon arrival. This was never clearly mentioned in the booking details, and I found it very unfair. If electricity is not included, it should be stated clearly before guests book. It would be better to offer a fixed all-inclusive price rather than surprising guests with extra charges on arrival. Another major issue was that the apartment was infested with mosquitoes. When I requested insecticide, the concierge said the previous guest had used it all and promised to send someone with a new one to spray the apartment. I waited for hours, but no one came. As a result, I could not sleep properly, making it one of the worst nights I have had in an apartment. The checkout experience was also frustrating. Around 10:30 a.m., when I was ready to leave, I called the concierge and was told he was not around. He then said I should have informed him 30 minutes before checkout and that I had to wait for him to arrive before I could leave. Overall, this was one of my worst accommodation experiences so far. The building and decor are impressive, but the customer service needs serious improvement. Clear communication, better preparation before guest arrival, proper pest control, and transparent pricing would make a big difference.
