The host does not maintain the apartment

The host does not maintain the apartment – we were unable to access it due to a broken lock, and the refund was only issued after long and exhausting discussions with support. We arrived late in the evening to check in. The building where the apartment is located looks more like a dormitory or social housing than proper accommodation. We were given a key on the first floor, went up to the fourth floor, and tried to open the door – but could not. The key got stuck in the lock and could neither be turned nor removed. We immediately contacted the host, but he was unable to help and did not even apologize. He seemed more concerned about his lock than about the fact that we were left without accommodation late at night. While waiting for a response near the door, we noticed how noisy the place is – you can hear everything from the corridor: dogs barking, people talking. There is clearly no sound insulation. We had to urgently find alternative accommodation. The host promised to refund the money, but did not do so and stopped responding. We contacted Booking.com support. After long and frustrating communication and repeated promises that the issue would be resolved, no refund was issued initially. We were only offered a 15% compensation, which did not even cover the cost of international calls to support. Booking explained the refusal to refund by saying that the host was not responding to them either. After this experience, I carefully reviewed other feedback and it became clear that many of the highly rated reviews appear to be fake or written by the host. Consistent feedback points to poor conditions and an unhelpful host — which we fully experienced ourselves. This was the worst booking experience I have ever had on Booking.com. Only after 10 days of exhausting communication with support was the refund finally approved.

A localização é mesmo incrível para quem vem de carro. Existe um estacionamento atrás do hotel que é de fácil acesso e, embora seja um pouco caro (26€ ao dia) é o melhor sítio para deixar o carro para quem não quer ter problemas. A recepção é fantástica e não há muita complicação. Senhores simpáticos. O quarto onde nos hospedámos foi super acolhedor, notava-se que estava bem arrumado e limpo.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja obiektu blisko zabytków i sklepu Mercadona, miejsce bezpieczne, jest windą ,łatwy odbiór kluczy,łany widok z okna.

W przedpokoju kruszy się farba ,ściany zawilgocone,lodówka bardzo głośna,zamek się zacinał.
