Solstice Beaune - Hôtel et Terroir

The breakfast was excellent if a bit expensive. Overall, it was wonderful stay, and the most impressive part was the staff. They were absolutely amazing--helpful at all times, always pleasant, a pleasure to converse with. (The room was great too.)

Clean and convenient! Staff were all friendly and very helpful! Nice it was so close to park.

Nicely renovated building with modern interiors, opened less than 2 years ago. Convenient location just outside the old city walls, 5-10 mins walk into the city center of Beaune. It has a nice little garden with sitting area under trees and trendy underground wine bar/vault. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly. There are 3-4 carpark spaces within the hotel enclosure.

There is no fridge in the room. The place is new and looks clean at first, but on second looks we found it not that clean. A white pillow accidentally dropped on the floor or short walk across the floor in light colored socks showed that it is not so clean (they seem to vacuum the floors, but we did not see anyone mopping the floors in the rooms during the days we stayed there). The 3 of us ordered a glass of wine in the garden from the wine bar, all 3 glasses were really dirty / dirty rims. Wi-Fi did not work for a while on one day, and the front door had some malfunctioning when we came back in the evening, with the electronic key opening system switching to green but not unlocking the door. No major issues overall but given the price these stood out.

Very quiet place on the northern edge of central Beaune. Quick walk into the vineyards or into town. Very nice staff and good breakfast. Wine bar in the cellar is interesting though I didn’t have time to check it out.
