Location looked great, unable to check in, did not stay.

Unable to check in. Office closed. No notice on doors or voicemail. Informed after contacting emergency number that they were closed for legal reasons and prior owner issues. Cabin location was nice if we had been able to stay.

Never Again

The only good thing I can say in this review is the cabin was ok.

This weekend was supposed to be a special one my husband and I only get 1 weekend a year to spend quality time together and relax. We have a special needs adult son that we care for the rest of the time. The one weekend we get is when he is cared for by his Bio Dad. This year has been extremely hard I was laid off twice in 2025 so this was much needed. So where do I start to tell you about this disaster of a weekend. My husband and I arrived to pick up keys to the Cabin the envelope only had a key in it, no other instructions that we saw or that we were given we got an address online to what we thought was the property after trying to find the cabin for over 2 hours we had to drive to another town 30 minutes away to find a room. We drove back to office where we picked up the keys the night before to find out where the cabin was located. The address was on the bottom of the envelope but I was never told that information and things get worse from there Once we realized the address was on the envelope we found the cabin however the key we had in our envelope. was not for the cabin we rented and the code didn't allow us access. When we were finally able to get in touch with the Management company they refund our stay (supposedly) and the gave us a key to stay Saturday night we get there again and the key for this Cabin wouldn't work also. Once again we have to make contact with the Management company to come over and open the door. By this time the day is almost gone and we haven't got to enjoy any activities or do anything because we had to deal with this disaster of a weekend get away. I will never reserve a cabin from this management company again Yes the did refund the money which was not expected, however a simple I am sorry for the miscommunication would have went a long way. I am still really upset because our one weekend was ruined.

Overall we loved the cabin and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

We were very pleased with our cabin, the lady let us check in early and was very sweet. The cabin was clean and had a very relaxing atmosphere. This was our first time going to Telico Plains and definitely will be going back.

Our neighbors had barking dogs.
