Two-Faced Hosts

I was actually trying to be kind and polite by originally giving this place an 8/10 when it deserved much less. If you don't leave them a 10/10 and you mention any genuine critisism then you get abusive messages from the host. All I mentioned was the air conditioning heating was weak in the living room and needs looking at and the bedroom mattress is cheap and too spongy and sinks right in (I had to sleep on the sofa because of it) genuine honest comments. But after the completely dishonest response and abusive whatsapp message he sent me, I had to lower it. The host is now making stuff up to try to put doubt into my honest review. He told me I could definitely check in early, no problem, but when 2:30pm had passed, I sent him a message and he replied saying check in will be 3:00pm (the normal time) so the early check-in comments are a nonsense.

When arriving at around 2:50pm, the lady cleaning told me herself she had finished and just needed to get the plates and cutlery she’d washed in their dishwasher and would be back in 10 mins. As she said the apartment was ready and I could come in, I started to unpack and went for a shower, which is normal after travelling all day, especially as it was already check-in time. Although she seemed friendly at the time, she obviously gossiped bad about me to her husband and nit-picked, claiming I was "disrespectful" just for showering? They are TWO-FACED and inhospitable. I was very friendly to both of them, then after I left an honest review, the host sent me a nasty whatsapp message swearing at me, then lied and wrote a passive-aggressive totally made up dishonest response to try to undermine my honest review and to distort the truth. Also his replies were abrupt, lazy and rude, without so much as a simple greeting. Also the claim about having to paint a wall is another outright lie. I left the apartment very clean and even wiped dirty smudges from previous guests' hands off the walls. I always treat people's property even better than my own. Also, I didn't mind about the lift to the terminal as I found that there was a bus and was PERFECTLY HAPPY with that, so to suggest my review was based on him refusing to take me is more complete nonsense.

Excellent Clean Cosy Apartment

Excellent amenities in the apartment. Clean all around. Great that there were bath towels available. Comfortable bed. Pleasant balcony. Very quiet area, perfect place for where we needed to be.
