I really liked how simple the check in process was. I met the host and was handed a key. The host and family was absolutely gracious. Property was just as describe and very clean. Nice view of Mt Vesuvio from balcony and quiet. Having said that, this property is in the mountains, expect nothing less. The roads are small and with narrow turns to get there and takes about 10-12 minutes by car from either train stop. If you are adventurous and try to walk it, travel light (a walk in the mountains is different than in the city). For me, I love going to the off beaten track of places, that's how I come to know a place and I travel a lot. Now, let me give a huge Shout Out to the father. I know it was second nature to him, but what an excellent driver up that road. I took my parents and they loved the experience. And we loved the space. I chose this place because it was right in-between Sorrento and Pompeii, close to train stations, with 3-4 trains stops to the attractions. The price was reasonable for the season, October. The center of Vico Equense is very cute, and again, if you are like me, it's off the beaten track. I would visit this place again.
Also note: Pompeii is wheels chair accessible if you go to the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance ONLY. You can cover a lot more ground here if you have walking issues than at any other entrance. Also, first Sunday of the month is free, but if you miss that and you're traveling with older parents in wheelchair (or could use one, they have them for free, just reserve on-line before), your entrance is free as the companion.

Ottima accoglienza dei proprietari, persone meravigliose e disponibili. Vista sul golfo di Napoli mozzafiato. Stanze grandi,comode e accoglienti. Biancheria pulita a disposizione, cucina attrezzata di tutto ciò che occorre. Pulizia e ordine
L'unica piccola pecca. Ma niente di che. È più un problema mio( purtroppo non ho più 20 anni) la scala per raggiungere l'appartamento. Per me faticosa abbinata al periodo di caldo torrido
