About this house rental
We have renovated our vacation home for you in 2024 and 2025 with great attention to detail, and we warmly invite families with children, dog owners with up to 2 dogs (more upon request), hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and anglers to spend the best days of the year with us.
With a total living area of 115 square meters, 3 bedrooms, and 5 beds (a crib available upon request), a living room with a dining and reading area, a fully equipped kitchen with a fully automatic coffee machine and a dining area, a bathroom, guest restroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, a fully fenced-in garden (1.50 m) with a seating area, sunshade, hammock, and grill, free Wi-Fi, and a large balcony—this vacation home offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Here you can find peace and quiet, feel right at home, and simply forget about everyday life.
Our house is located on a quiet side street with little to no traffic, right on the edge of a field and an idyllic stream in the national park community of Vöhl. From here, you can immediately set out on your excursions, hikes, or bike rides on one of the countless trails designed for these activities—or even cross-country—for example, to Lake Eder, the corn maze, or the summer toboggan run. The passenger boats, the TreeTopWalk, and Waldeck Castle are also within easy reach. Further afield are Frankenberg, Korbach, and Willingen, as well as Kassel and Marburg with their shopping opportunities and tourist attractions.
Vöhl itself offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of the Waldeck-Ederbergland vacation region.
A supermarket, a beverage store, restaurants, a bakery, a butcher, and two rural doctors provide basic services and give you the option to leave your car at home every now and then. The Henkelbad (outdoor pool), tennis court, and horseback riding opportunities also offer recreational activities right on site.
Since the Lotte vacation home is an old half-timbered house, the ceiling height in the basement is 2 m!!!
