Open, very well-equipped kitchenette with built-in stove (4 ceramic burners, oven), dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, fondue set, and raclette grill. Cozy double bedroom. Large shower/toilet with two sinks.

The spacious AURORA vacation home is located in a prime residential area in Saas-Grund. Sunny and quiet location, right next to the aerial cableway to the “Hohsaas” ski area. The residence offers a wide range of amenities for both winter and summer guests: an elevator serving every floor, a laundry room with a washer and dryer (use upon request and for a fee), and a ski storage room. Infrared sauna and solarium (for a fee). Two to three free parking spaces are available per apartment.
The apartment is tastefully, comfortably, and brightly furnished, with high-quality and complete amenities. Cable TV. Tile floors; laminate floors in each bedroom. Large, covered south-facing balcony with furniture and a beautiful view extending to the Saas-Fee and Allalin ski areas.

SAAS-GRUND: Just under 4 km from the world-famous, sophisticated year-round resort of Saas-Fee lies Saas-Grund, the main town of the Saas Valley. It is an “affordable” alternative and offers a wide range of sports and recreational activities in both winter and summer.
WINTER: Saas-Grund features a small but excellent, sunny, and very child-friendly ski area: an 8-person gondola takes you to Kreuzboden at an elevation of 2,400 m, and from there, Switzerland’s highest gondola takes you up to a respectable 3,200 m. The ski area comprises a total of 35 km of downhill runs (mostly with artificial snow). Mountain restaurant, adventure playground for children, and a childcare center with supervision. A good ski area for beginners. Snowboard park at Kreuzboden. In the Saas Valley between the towns, there are a total of 26 km of groomed cross-country trails (fee required). Free ski bus between the towns. Switzerland’s longest toboggan run (11 km long) is located here. 22 km of marked winter hiking trails.
SUMMER: more than 200 km of hiking trails, 3 tennis courts, fitness trail. A total of 70 km of mountain bike trails, including bike rentals. Mini-golf. Bars, restaurants, dance clubs, supermarkets.

SAAS-FEE: the world-famous resort with its imposing glaciers lies in a small valley at an elevation of 1,800 m and is surrounded by 13 four-thousand-meter peaks, including such well-known mountains as the Dom, Alphubel, Nadelhorn, Täschhorn, and Allalin. The entire town of Saas-Fee is car-free and can only be accessed on foot or by electric taxi. At the entrance to the town, a huge, multi-story parking terminal (for a fee) offers ample parking.

The ski resort is remarkable and is used as a training camp, particularly by many national ski teams; as Saas-Fee is, alongside Zermatt, the only year-round ski resort (reduced to the glacier ski area in summer) in Switzerland. While the lifts in the valley are more suitable for beginners, over 20 lifts (gondolas, chairlifts, and T-bar lifts) serve approximately 100 km of downhill runs up to an altitude of 3,600 m; higher up, the slopes are predominantly red and black and are a real treat, especially for experienced skiers.
Cross-country skiing: a 6-km high-altitude trail in Saas-Fee and a 26-km cross-country trail in the valley between Saas-Balen, Saas-Grund, and Saas-Almagell.
Other activities: numerous ski and snowboard schools, a cross-country skiing school, a ski kindergarten, a toboggan run, indoor tennis courts, snowshoe hikes, natural ice rinks, curling, and curling on ice. Saas-Fee also offers plenty for non-skiers (pubs, dance clubs, bars, etc.).
Summer activities in the Saas Valley: numerous hiking and high-altitude trails (a total of nearly 450 km) of all difficulty levels, a 900-meter-long summer toboggan run, a 9-hole alpine golf course, mini-golf, a high ropes course, a canyon via ferrata, a canyon zip line (Tyrolia or Flying Fox), picnic areas, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, mountaineering, and paragliding. A mountain biking network over 70 km long with mountain bike rentals available in various towns.
