Lønstrup is a little gem on the west coast of North Jutland. Look forward to wonderful walks to the beach, where you can enjoy spectacular views and the sunset over the North Sea from the panoramic benches. Find out more about the history of Lønstrup, which is closely linked to the region’s harsh weather conditions. Visit the site where Mårup Church once stood, or take a trip to Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, which was relocated to a new site in 2019. In the centre of Lønstrup, you’ll find a very special atmosphere with small specialist shops, glassblowing workshops, jewellery art, galleries and pottery studios, as well as a good selection of restaurants.
