Everything about our stay was exceptional. I hadn’t seen my family in a while, so we decided to meet in Marrakech, and I wanted their stay to be as perfect as possible. Riad Casa Maria didn’t disappoint any of them.
Location: Just a few narrow alleyways from the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa. With this accomodation you can immerse yourself in the busy labyrinth of the medina, then walk a short way back to the comfort of the riad.
Staff: Warm, genuine hospitality.
The building: A perfect combination of old riad-style charm and modern comfort. With only a handful of rooms, every guest receives personal care.
Breakfast: When I booked, I wrongly assumed breakfast wasn’t included. It is, and it’s plentiful, Moroccan-style and tastes amazing.
Parking: I came by car, and as the hotel is right in the medina, it has no parking of its own. Karim, the owner, kindly suggested a paid, guarded car park just a 2-3 minute walk away, which worked perfectly.
All in all, I would happily (and probably will) return whenever I visit Marrakech again.
I had nothing to complain about.
