Clean comfortable and good value
It would have been nice to be checked in not just directed to a keyboard by email. This made it feel very impersonal, like they only want your money but they don't want to be bothered by you. Just an observation. Not a complaint. The room was excellent and I'd recommend a stay to anyone..

The room was clean and bright. There was tea and coffee available and the cleaner topped them up when asked.
The property is a great place to stay for both Longleat and Bath, and the surrounding area has lots to do.
The host was very helpful on our arrival, though it took several calls to get through.
The room is a convenient stay and will definitely be useful to use just as a base.
The room is very small, as the name 'snug' suggests. There was nowhere to hang any clothes or coats, though there was a chest of drawers if you needed it. The heating was only on occasionally and it was a very cold wet weekend, so it would have been nice to be able to control this ourselves.
We were in the 1st room next to the iron stairs, the door to the building was broken and wouldn't shut unless the handle was pushed to the locked position. This was left open a lot, making our room cold, and with the wind it was banging into the frame. We had to get up many times to look the door, which wasn't ideal, but once we reported it, at least a sign was put up to ask people to shut it.
