Beautiful and interesting decor in every room, very comfortable, extemely cosy, a perfect bolt hole getaway. So relaxing. Felt so welcome and that nothing would be too much trouble if we needed anything but we didn't as all was just great. The weather was awful but we really didn't mind as were very happy to stay indoors by the lovely fire. Would def come again and have already recommended to friends.
Could hear neighbours through one adjoining wall but to be fair this was only occassional and brief. It would be useful to have a couple of serving spoons and large bowls but there really was nothing more negative than that !

Lovely peaceful location, quirky house full of interesting items .
The sofa in the main bedroom was a lovely place to sit and read a book as it was a bright sunny spot unlike a lot of the rest of the house which was quite dark
Good shower
Only a short drive to big supermarket
Generally well equipped, traditional kitchen in keeping with property but which could do with some utensils replacing.
The property was a bit dark for us and would be good to have brighter lighting options if wanted
