Unfortunetly, we didn't get breakfast, we were in a rush, but the coffee/tea was on tap outside of the breakfast room - just by the doors which was great ! we could grab & go. The staff - ALL staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was MASSIVE, with a fridge bigger than the one we have at home - with a dishwasher, it felt odd filling it so empty as we only stayed one night. The bathroom/shower were amazing! lighting was great for makeup! The biggest bed I think ive ever slept in. Was perfect for a passing stay but also great location if you wanted to save & be a little outside outside the bustle of downtown.
Genuinely - cant think of any negatives.

The staff was very helpful and provided assistance when asked for. The morning sun together with the rich breakfast sealed a perfect start to the new day. Nearby the hotel were some very nice restaurants at walking distance.
It was located a bit far from the city center, but uber services worked fine.

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I enjoyed my breakfast and had a nice conversation with the "waffle" lady who was very sweet

We stayed on the 7th floor. Elevators were not an issue and the suite was spacious.
The hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre/ Vaughan mills mall. Not terrible but I would stay closer next time. I could not get Poppa John's pizza delivered to the hotel as it was outside the delivery zones.
I booked on a 3rd party site in January however I arrived for check-in late due to distance of commute and was told that suite with 2 queen beds was no longer available. I then noticed a voicemail from the hotel stating that the room with 2queen beds was no longer available while I was at the check in counter. In they were able to find one, but I can only assume that they gave my room away after not checking in early enough.
Lack of coffee/ juice was a continual problem at the breakfast. Creamer and sugar kept running out. I had to wait half an hour to get a cup of coffee. Kitchen staff were not very motivated to help out.
Fire alarm went off after midnight on Friday and the entire hotel had to evacuate. Ended up being a false alarm and good that there were no issues. Just very annoying. Hotel would not offer compensation for the event.
Room darkening shades does not block the exterior building lighting form beaming in through the valance.
