Our apartments in Døssinghus are equipped with fully stocked kitchens. They offer simple accommodations in a village with an authentic village atmosphere. The apartments serve as a central base for overnight stays while exploring the surrounding areas.
Ideal for hikers and cyclists on the Hærvejen trail. You can stay overnight during your hike, after visiting family and friends in the area, after an event at Boxen in Herning, or as a craftsman for a longer period of time.
In Døssinghus, every apartment is unique. You can choose from 4 apartments, all decorated with inspiration drawn from local history. All our apartments are non-smoking and feature a private bathroom with a shower and a kitchen equipped with a stove and refrigerator. In the summer, there is a backyard with a table and a barbecue for your use.
Jens Langkniv’s apartment is named after Jens Langkniv, a Danish Robin Hood who was an outlaw in the 1600s. The apartment features a private kitchen and bathroom with plenty of hot water, as well as a cozy master bedroom with a work desk. The bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm), ideal for couples. The double bed consists of two single beds measuring 90 x 200 cm, which are joined together to form a double bed with a top mattress. Duvets, bed linens, and towels are provided.
We welcome business travelers, including traveling technicians, seasonal workers, craftsmen, hikers, cyclists, and guests attending events in central Jutland, or anyone needing accommodations for a short or long stay.
