Modern and stylish, this three-bedroom townhome in The Brownstone at the Summit community offers not only plenty of room to spread out over four levels, but also a convenient, walkable location. Tucked into a bend in the San Gabriel River, the community is within a few blocks of restaurants, shops, a gym, and movie theater. It also adjoins the riverfront Rivery Park, which offers playgrounds, a disc golf course, a nature pond, and access to the 25-mile hiking and biking trail, the N. San Gabriel River Trail, which in turn connects to Lake Georgetown, downtown and a variety of city parks and amenities. More highlights include a private elevator and a private rooftop terrace, the perfect place to start the day with coffee or wind down with a glass of wine.

The Bend in the River brownstone townhouse our party rented is an outstanding property. The features are high-end quality, from the floor tile to the kitchen countertops to the appliances. The 3 bedrooms were each adequate to excellent, & each had a private bathroom We were very pleased! It even has an elevator that accesses each of the 4 floors of the unit.WE HAVE ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT ABOUT THE PROPERTY LISTING: Slides 19 & 30 of the photos from the property listing suggest there is a bedroom with a long couch and 2 high-backed chairs. There are none; this room is not part of this property. WE CHOSE THIS PROPERTY BASED ON THESE FEATURES! One of our party has a disability which requires him to sleep sitting up. He typically sleeps in a recliner. This was a significant problem for our group! This needs to be corrected!We also have suggestions to aid the listing:* We were 6 senior adults with mobility challenges. We were pleased to find that the elevator came all the way down to the garage level, thus allowing access to all levels without having to negotiate any steps. That is not clear from the write-up, and there are a LOT of steps inside the home.* It would be helpful if a list of what features are or are not included could be listed. For example, hair dryers, adequate pillows, tea & coffee, etc. were supplied, but not pillow cases for some pillows, adequate blankets, a DVD player, or face cloths.

Really nice place, not happy about the parking situation. No free parking if you own a truck. That should be listed online.

Good safe area. Very big. Plenty of space. Convenient to Georgetown. Clean. Coffee shop within walking distance. Parking is a little tight but doable. And the water pressure in the master bath shower is very low. I did have a problem with the showerhead one day and they came over that day to fix it. We enjoyed our stay.
