The room was super cute, but also very much in need of few fixes. I was unaware that you had to bring your own supplies like toilet paper. When I texted the number given should there was an issue no one got back to me. Great location, and enjoyed my time in Mahone Bay. I would stay there again, now understanding better what type of property it is.

Great spot! Close to the walking trail and town. The skylights looking up into the trees was super cool

The room was gorgeous in every detail, the owners have a great sense of style and they know how to create a comfortable experience. The location was great for convenience, shops and food in a nice little town, especially if you’re driving from Peggy’s Cove, stopping in Mahone Bay, then on to Lunenburg and beyond. The sauna was also a nice bonus. A friend of ours who lives in Halifax recommended we have dinner at Betty’s on the patio, and we were able to walk there in about three minutes from our cabin. The food and service and garden patio were delightful. Highly recommend Black Forest Cabins if you need a place to stay in Mahone Bay. The photos provided by the owners are accurate down to the small details.
