Hygge Hus Hotel

I did like the location as this was very close to the Andrews Rail Tour. We did like the cleanliness of the room as well as the accessibility.

The directions for entering the room stated the entrance number and a separate number, the last 4 of my phone number. This was slightly confusing as I used only the main number for entrance to the room, as I attempted entrance to the room with the last 4 of my phone number and it did not work. Also there was some damage to the bathtub, as well as a spot on the wall by the bathroom that were damaged prior to our arrival. The only thing we did not enjoy as much was there was no person to discuss any of this information with on site. This is a new experience and it can be a little unsettling whenever there are items of concern. Also, the directions stated to leave the trash on the side of the building, which when you look on the side of the building there is one room that is recessed. It didn't seem right to leave the trash outside the room and when I looked in the parking lot, I noticed there were 3 trash cans, which is where I placed our trash. This portion could have been communicated a little clearer as I want to place things where they belong, but also not have to wonder if I'm doing the right thing.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Bathroom area was way to small. Outside noise and adjacent room noise was extremely loud.

It was close to all of the activities we had planned.

It could use a handicap bar to assist getting in and out of the tub.

There was no breakfast

The constant bombardment of flies and gnats was very disturbing. Also, when we arrived a stray dog that wouldn’t leave us alone, made several attempts to get into the room.
