Poor Poor guest house ever
Nothing totally nothing and I will never go there
Extremely Disappointing B&B Experience in Durban Hlalanathi lodge 99 Tagore road.
My experience at this B&B was extremely bad and disappointing. The accommodation was far below our expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone based on our experience.
We had to bath with cold water, and the toilets and bathrooms could not be locked properly while we were inside, which made us feel uncomfortable and raised serious privacy concerns.
The toilet was in a terrible condition. We had to pull the flushing mechanism manually whenever we wanted to flush the toilet, which is unacceptable for accommodation that guests pay for.
There was no TV available in the room, the doors were broken, and there was no stove despite the place being advertised as self-catering accommodation. The rooms were in such a poor condition that they felt like something out of a horror movie.
To make matters worse, when we wanted to sit and relax in the lounge, we were told that it was the reception area and that we could eat outside instead. This was very disappointing because guests should have a comfortable place to sit, relax, and enjoy their stay.
I am extremely unhappy with this experience. Guests deserve clean, functional facilities and a comfortable environment, especially when paying for accommodation. I hope management takes these complaints seriously and makes the necessary improvements. I would not recommend this B&B unless these issues are addressed.
We even called the customer care line because the owner was ignoring our calls, The careline said they would get back to us and they never did that.

It was horrible.
They had a mango tree outside and staff were friendly.
Bed was on bricks with holes in it.
Bathroom doors did not locks, so you walk in while someone is bathing.
Toilet didn't flush unless you opened tap underneath.
Bathroom sink taps don't work.
No microwave.
Fridge rusted.
Hardly any utensils.
1 plate on a 2 plate stove worked and everyone including staff had to wait their turn.
Mosquitoes finished us! I had to fight them off the whole to early hours with my face cloth until I had to use my shorts because I was outnumbered, just too many and was with closed and lights on!

It was OK but not what I expected.
THE PLACE IS ISOLATED
The place have hidden entrance we were not able to get inside for about 20 minutes the gates were closed
I think the bathroom was too far from our room...we had to pass through the stuff when we want to use it ,that situation made us uncomfortable.
