A cute stay near tokyo/kyoto to unwind and relax from all the travel stress

It was a super cute traditional ryokan with just a few rooms for guests. The staff was super kind, the ryokan was totally surrounded by nature and other onsen. We had a big spacious room with lots of facilities like a big shower, a nice toilet, microwave/kettle near the room and a little onsen bath on suite. Also, we got a traditional robe in which we could go around the stay

The room was smelling pretty humid / wet, almost moldy since there is thr onsen bath outside on the porch with all the steam. In the bathroom and vanity, i was finding some mold aswell which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the people next door were super noisy and disrespectful to the other guests which was a bummer at first since we just stayed a night. Later we asked the staff about it and they took care of it seemed like (of course it wasnt their fault).

Beautiful sorroundings

The staff was incredibly accommodating! Super friendly and helpful.

Hakone is extremely humid in this month (September) and unfortunately, the room, as well as the extra blankets and pillows, smelled like humidity. Everything else, aside that, was wonderful

Amazing Japanese experience with great host and absolute tranquility

This place is a golden standard of hospitality with our stay being totally cozy and attended by extremely helpful hostess. The onsens in private rooms are amazing with views straight into a mountain forest. You could just sit there (or even in the room) and stare into the deep, lush green. Immediate surroundings are tranquil - you need to put a little walk to get to closest shops, cafes, beautiful shrines or mountain trails.

Tutto !
