Wir haben unsere ersten drei Nächte auf Bali im Kemari Ubud verbracht und hätten uns keinen schöneren Start in unseren Urlaub wünschen können!
Das kleine Hotel mit nur fünf Zimmern liegt mitten im Zentrum von Ubud und ist trotzdem wunderbar ruhig gelegen. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, um Ubud zu erkunden und gleichzeitig einen entspannten Rückzugsort zu haben.
Besonders hervorzuheben sind die unglaublich freundlichen Mitarbeiter, die sich mit viel Herz um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag frisch und mit viel Liebe selbst zubereitet. Man wählt bereits am Vortag aus dem Menü aus und kann sich am nächsten Morgen auf ein leckeres Frühstück freuen.
Auch die Organisation eines privaten Fahrers für unsere Bali-Nordtour hat problemlos geklappt. Man merkt einfach, dass hier alles getan wird, damit sich die Gäste wohlfühlen.
Ein weiteres Highlight war der Pool, den wir ganz für uns allein hatten. Er lag direkt vor unserem Zimmer, und auch der Frühstücksbereich war unmittelbar nebenan. Dadurch hatte alles eine unglaublich persönliche und gemütliche Atmosphäre.
Man fühlt sich hier nicht wie in einem Hotel, sondern wie zu Hause – nur eben mitten auf Bali. ❤️

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, früh hell, da nicht komplett abgedunkelt werden kann. Das hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört.

Location in Ubud is a question which cannot be answered, because in Ubud everything is as far or close as the traffic. So it actually doesn't matter, unless you want to go to a yoga studio, then you should be close to that. But besides this, I can really recommend Kimari, because there everything you need is close by, and everything else just depends on the traffic.The staff is exceptionally friendly, is doing an amazing job with the food every morning on time, with amazing taste and a great coffee.And the last thing which might be important for you, if you want to get around, they offer very good quality scooters. They have a smaller scooter and two Nmax scooters which I really can recommend for going everywhere. If you want to go to the mountains, we really enjoyed using those scooters because they are so comfy, it's like riding on a sofa. So go to Kimari and reserve yourself a scooter from them and it's no issue at all and no worries, so it was a very good vacation with them, the four days I stayed with them.

A much more budget friendly choice without the bells and whistles.

Stayed two nights. One of the more noisier accomodations we’ve stayed at even though it’s in a quieter part of Ubud. Whilst there are only 5 rooms, you can hear doors opening and closing all night and early hours of the morning, people talking, as well as what I believe is the water heater humming through the walls when someone has a shower. Could not get a solid nights sleep here and hot water lasted for only 5 mins or so, so you need to be quick if you’re a couple.
