Clean and new. Comfortable bed. Reasonably close to the beach for the price. Quiet location and nice setting in the trees on the hillside.

Layout is like a maze with a lot of dead ends. For example, you can't walk from the main pool area to the poolside bar?! The pool is in the way, so you have to go down a load of steps then down the hill then up 2 flights again and taadaa you're at the bar... bizarre. The restaurant is also in the lobby building so for breakfast you have to get down to floor level, walk down the hill, then go back up to get to the breakfast area. There's a lot of walking up and down steep slopes/steps. The driveway up to the lobby is so steep it is actually dangerous, I don't know how it got passed off. Every taxi complained about it as their wheels were spinning in the wet trying to get up... there are no shops within 15 minutes walk apart from a very small minimart. We booked a deluxe room which was sort of the worst of both worlds as it had no direct pool access but also no balcony, so I would avoid. There was nowhere to dry swimwear/towels. The bathroom was this modern style of glass partition with no real separation from the bedroom which I always find a bit awkward especially if you need to go in the night, turn the light on and the whole bedroom lights up.

I had a lovely stay at Wyndham Garden Phuket Kamala. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The hotel has an AI assistant that is convenient to use. If it cannot fully answer your question or solve a problem, you can ask it to pass your request to the hotel staff so they can assist you promptly. If your room is far from the lobby, you can call for a buggy whenever needed. However, I recommend requesting it at least 15–20 minutes in advance, as many guests use this service. From what I noticed, the staff sometimes have other duties to attend to as well. The hotel now has a bar, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it is a comfortable and peaceful place with helpful staff. Thank you to the team for taking good care of us. I would be happy to stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Corporate box hotel literally, constant emails/what’s app (9 in total) about booking in online beforehand -only stayed 1 night-as best avoided , then in the morning (Sunday) 7am received what’s app message asking what time we are going to check out…then even knock on door at 8 from cleaner-dispite pressing do not disturb button. For the money, I’ve stayed at better quality for half the price in Phuket.
