Dirty apartment with loud noise and poor internet quality.
The location was right next to Retiro park.
I really wanted to like this property because of its great location, but my experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
I stayed for 21 days, and for the entire first week there was no Wi-Fi. I reported this to the staff, who dropped off a hotspot device while waiting for the internet company to fix the issue. Unfortunately, the hotspot never worked, and since I needed reliable internet for work, I had to purchase my own service for the week at a cost of about €50.
On top of that, no one informed me that major construction would be taking place during my stay. A crew was remodeling the front entrance and stairs, and the noise from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. was absolutely unbearable, the constant hammering to remove the old bricks that lasted hours and drilling that echoed through the walls. I couldn’t rest in the mornings or hold a single work meeting without interruption. When I reported this, staff simply said there was nothing they could do.
To make matters worse, the headboard in the bedroom detached completely from the wall. It was supposed to be screwed in, but clearly hadn’t been reinforced properly. I notified staff immediately, only to later receive a message from Booking stating they intended to charge me €160 for it; which felt completely unfair given the condition it was in.
Overall, this was a deeply unpleasant stay. The apartment was not well maintained; the walls were visibly dirty, and the bed sheets were stained and smelled of mildew. I expected far better standards and basic transparency for the price paid

Ubicación impecable
La ubicación y el trato amable del anfitrión.
Las llaves dejadas en el piso no funcionaban, solo la apertura con la app.
