Looks are deceiving!

Kids enjoyed the pool table but it was in the garage.

The location is fine if you have a car, but without one you'll need to rely on taxis to get anywhere. (Luckily we hired a vehicle) The ground-floor rooms have older sliding doors. We had to call maintenance to fix one, but even afterwards it still felt very insecure and could be opened easily from the outside despite being locked. Bedrooms have Aircon and was generally worked well, but that’s it - all communal areas were very warm - especially the main living room. The property was overlooked by what I can only describe as some sort of builders merchant. This was to the rear and a lot higher so looked down over the pool area. The pool was acceptable, but the water appeared dirty and remained cloudy throughout our stay. We paid a €700 security deposit, which has been retained because the property claims a parasol was damaged. I have disputed this charge. There was also a strong unpleasant smell coming from the en-suite bathroom in the top-floor bedroom. It was bad enough that we kept the door closed and used the main bathroom instead. Be aware that the bath towels provided are limited in number and very small for adults. They are not replaced during your stay. There is a washing machine available, which we ended up using to wash the towels ourselves.
