Disappointing experience for a special family celebration
We stayed at this Hilton resort for two nights to celebrate my 75th birthday with my wife and our three adult daughters. We paid $1,800 for a family room described as a two-room apartment with a living area and kitchenette.
To our surprise and disappointment, when we arrived, we discovered that the larger living area had no windows whatsoever. It felt like being in a bunker, which was certainly not what we expected from a resort at this price point. Had we known this in advance, we would have chosen a different accommodation.
To the resort's credit, the staff was able to move us to two nice, standard connecting rooms. We appreciated their efforts, but unfortunately, the magic of the occasion was already gone. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in one of the new rooms was so noisy that it reminded me of the window A/C units—not exactly the experience one expects at a resort costing $1,800 for two nights.
Overall, we appreciated the effort to accommodate us, but the initial disappointment and the noise issue detracted significantly from our stay. We had chosen this resort for an important family milestone and expected a more enjoyable experience for the price we paid.

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. We were shown to our room and taken care of in a very professional manner.
Everything was perfect

The dinner that we had at the restaurant was very good.
We were placed in room 240, which overlooked the roof of the entrance--very bad. We paid full price for a king room that should have a steep discount.
