The communication with the owner is fab and he was able to answer any queries straight away. Another bed was made up for us and whilst the extra twenty pounds was a bit high to do so it was much appreciated. The flat is basic and not that appealing from the outside however as long as you accept that it is not all bells and whistles you will have a fantastic time. The parking is a premium for Edinburgh and the location a short walk to the castle. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return.
It was difficult to get the radiators to work and so was cold until we did. The communal backdoor could be painted to make it slightly more appealing.
