Disappointing - this is a studio apartment with a loft, not a 2-bedroom - 4th floor in a walk-up.

The location was fantastic. The flat was well decorated and clean. The patio is lovely.

This is a studio apartment with a loft, not a 2-bedroom as it is currently listed. There are no doors and the "second bedroom" is the living room. We were five people and so this wasn't a good set up for us - we specifically booked this place as it was sold as a 2-bedroom. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a walk-up, which was not clear while booking. The shower flooded as the shower drain was plugged, causing a mess late at night for us to clean up, and we had to unplug the shower drain ourselves. Check in was challenging; the code was not provided and we had to make an international call out for it. There is graffiti on the door, and the stairway smells strongly of garbage - a small thing perhaps, but it gave a poor first impression.

Wonderful location, apartment, and host

Fantastic location, cozy, clean, everything worked well, host was helpful, welcoming, and flexible.

It was quite hot in the apartment, effecting our sleep, and difficult to cool with the available fans.

We had a great time in Freiburg and enjoyed staying in this property.

Great location near the old town. Amazing views of Martinstor and Munster cathedral from the windows!
