Unreliable and dishonest. Do not book!

Nothing. Do not book this apartment as they are not reliable at all. Don't risk it. They may cancel on you last minute and you'll need to find an alternate accomodation, very likely overpriced due to the last-minute demand.

Awful experience. Do not book this apartment as they are not reliable at all. Don't risk it. One day before my check-in, when I was already at the airport, they messaged me on WhatsApp saying that they would not be able to host us. But they did not cancel on Booking - instead, they wanted me to cancel it. Of course I didn't cancel it. I contacted Booking and they said that they needed to confirm the issue with the property before they could start their relocation process, but they couldn't reach the owners (they wouldn't answer the phone nor reply to messages/emails). This made our life even harder, because we had to wait until check in time (3pm the next day) to start the relocation process. Coincidentally, this happened during the week of Mining Indaba, a huge conference that caused demand and prices of hotels and similar properties to spike absurdly. The perfect opportunity to cancel that old reservation someone made 3 months ago and rent the place for 3-5 times what it's actually worth, right? In the end I couldn't wait for Booking to start their relocation process the next day, because accomodations were running up very quickly due to the high demand. I ended up renting an Airbnb for 2.5x my original price, for a shared apartment in a much farther location. I am still trying to get Booking to reimburse me for the extra costs, with no success.

Lovely clean apartment, walking distance from shops and promenade.

Clean and well equipped.

No complaints.

Totally a perfect Cozy place

The property is just as the pictures are shown on the site , I was greeted by a friendly host who showed me around. The flat is beautifully set up , neat clean and has everything you want in a home away from home. It is totally cozy and in reach of shops and restaurants, even the beach is very near . My host James was so helpful when I needed to know something. I really loved my stay at Urban Cozy Studio .
