The proximity to local style cafes, bars, and bakeries was great. The room had all the things you might need -- Nespresso coffee maker, fridge, shampoo, A/C, wifi etc. It was nice that the room is a self-contained little cabin.
This is not a criticism of this property or the owner but, you should know if, like us, you want to book a room in Fiumicino just to spend the night and get back to the airport the next day, there is a €35 set fee *each way* for a taxi to and from the airport (no Uber or Uber-like options, local bus is the only other option) even though it is only a 10 minute drive. If we had known that we would have spent some of that €70 on a hotel that had a free shuttle to FCO.
The smell. We don't know if it was a broken toilet seal or mildew but the smell was overwhelming. Closing the bathroom door helped somewhat but there was also a strong cleaning product smell that made it all worse. It made it very uncomfortable to be in the room and was headache-inducing.
It was not possible to login to Netflix on the TV. The version was too old and we tried to update and it still didn't work.
