Really cute accommodation in a great location. Room had garden looking right onto the beach and could see the locals getting up to their fishing. Seemed a far more peaceful location than the busyness of Negombo down the road, but still within a very close tuktuk distance away. Also conveniently located for an easy ride to the airport too. Breakfast was very filling too and the host was so hospitable.
Was a little bid difficult to be let in the property but after 10 minutes the host let us in

The view is great, 10/10 for the location. Staff was very supportive.
The window glass was untidy, the AC did not work well. Also, there is absolutely no restaurant or cafe close by. However, the host got our dinner prepared from a neighour our who served us homemade food, which was fresh but average in taste.

Als erstes muss ich erwähnen,dass die Gadsgeber wirklich total nett sind und ein wahnsinniges Frühstück zaubern! Vielen Dank dafür! Auch sind sie total aufmerksam und freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben uns am Abend noch zu einem Restaurant gefahren und am Abflugtag zum Flughafen gebracht. Großartig.
Das Haus an sich ist sehr schön. Man hat eine Küche und einen großzügigen Wohnzimmerbereich den man nutzen kann. Die Betreiber selbst leben in der Stadt.Der tolle Nachbar steht aber für jede Frage gerne zur Verfügung. Wirklich alle sehr nett.
Leider war das,was ich gebucht habe nicht das was wir bekommen haben. Zimmer mit Meerblick . Leider mussten wir unten schlafen,da es oben durchgeregnet hat.( wurde aber am nächsten Tag repariert,glaube ich)
Also bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Zaun. Kein Moskitonetz.Gut,es gibt nicht soviel Mücken auf der Seite des Ozeans. Leider dafür um so mehr Fliegen. Sehr viele Fliegen. Wir hatten uns Negombo zum Schluss unserer 4 wöchigen Reise ausgesucht. Romantischer Abschluss.Leider ist der Strand vor dem schönen Haus so vermüllt wie in Colombo,dass selbst spazieren gehen keinen Spaß macht.
Vorteil von der Lage ist,dass es schön ruhig ist.Wenn man mal vom Hahn nebenan absieht 😂😂. Aber das mag ich.Fazit.
Alles in allem würde ich sagen,dass einfach das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis garnicht stimmt.Wir haben für vergleichbare Ausstattung in Sri Lanka meist die Hälfte bezahlt.Sorry.
