Lovely modern ground-floor apartment. Spacious bedroom and well equipped kitchen. I slept well.
Communication with the host was very friendly and prompt. I booked at very short notice, this was not a problem.
On street parking was possible. It is a ten min walk to a choice of good supermarkets and also the train station - you can get the train to Glasgow Queen Street in less than 30 mins.
The WiFi was a bit slow and intermittent.

Apartment very well arranged and furnished. The owner has obviously taken a lot of time and effort in thinking how to make the place as inviting as possible.
Nothing really. It would help finding the apartment if the address advertised could include the number 35. Lux apartment doesn't indicate where it is

Great location to Dumbarton East station. We used it get direct line into both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Free parking was available outside on the street. The decor inside was light and airy and although small the apartment had a good feel to it.
A lot of Manet had been spent on its appearance inside but unfortunately some should have been spent on the basics. The mattress was very thin and had no support at all. Very uncomfortable. In fact I moved onto the sofa bed on the lady night do my wife could get a better sleep. The living room had so many extra cushions and plastic flowers that there was no room to move about. There were no towel rails or any bench space in the bathroom which was a shame because although very narrow it presented well. There was some wasted space in the bedroom that could have been used as well.
Overall the money would have been better spent on the basic needs of the user rather than to make it look better than it really was in the photos.
