A very nice, modern villa slightly outside of Ubud center. The space was clean and located right next to rice fields.
The only thing that left a negative impression was the unexpected charge for the beers in the fridge. It wasn’t a lot of money, but we weren’t told at check-in that they were an additional charge. Since this was a villa rather than a hotel with a minibar—and there were no signs or price list, we assumed the beers had simply been left behind by previous guests. We only learned afterward that we needed to pay for them.
Also, not much hot water when showering.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft für eine Nacht gebucht, vor allem wegen der ansprechenden Fotos und des architektonischen Stils, den wir gerne einmal selbst erleben wollten. In dieser Hinsicht entspricht die Unterkunft auch tatsächlich den Bildern – die Architektur an sich hat uns gut gefallen und wir fanden das Konzept interessant. Die Anlage ist insgesamt nett gestaltet, der Pool war in Ordnung und es gibt einen großen Fernseher mit Netflix und ähnlichen Angeboten, falls man das nutzen möchte. Für uns stand das zwar nicht im Fokus, aber es ist ein Pluspunkt. Grundsätzlich war es ruhig, wir konnten gut schlafen, und die Damen bei der Übergabe waren freundlich. Eine Rückfrage wegen eines Geräusches wurde schnell aufgenommen und das Problem zügig behoben, was wir positiv fanden.
Vor Ort wurde allerdings deutlich, dass die Bauweise insgesamt eher einfach ist. Man sah an mehreren Stellen kleinere Ausbesserungen, teils hingen Elemente herunter oder wirkten reparaturbedürftig. Wenn man aus Mitteleuropa kommt, ist man eine andere Bau- und Qualitätsausführung gewohnt, was hier schon auffällt. Auch der Außenbereich war weniger ansprechend als bei anderen Unterkünften auf Bali. Statt üppiger, dichter Vegetation wirkte er vergleichsweise frei und etwas karg. Zwar ermöglicht das einen schönen Blick auf die Reisfelder, gleichzeitig fühlte man sich dadurch aber etwas zu offen und wenig abgeschirmt. Der Zweck mancher Beete oder Gestaltungselemente war für uns zudem nicht ganz nachvollziehbar.

If you are looking for tranquility, this villa is the one. Tucked away from the busy streets and the road noise. The villa offered us an open rice field view. You can say it's almost private. The whole is fully equipped. There is no lack. Awesome place
There are some ants here and there but it is not enough to bother us.
