Absolutely unacceptable hygiene

The only positive thing about this apartment was its location — it was convenient and well situated for exploring Nice. Unfortunately, everything else about our stay was extremely disappointing.

⭐ 1/5 — Absolutely unacceptable hygiene This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. The condition of this apartment was honestly shocking. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the apartment had not been properly cleaned or prepared for guests. There was no toilet paper and no hand soap. We did not even ask for toilet paper — only before the last nights of our stay, the host simply left one roll outside the door. Having to deal with something as basic as toilet paper during a stay is completely unacceptable. The cleanliness was the biggest problem. The pillows were dirty, the bed linen had numerous stains, and the towels were in an absolutely disgusting condition. We were genuinely uncomfortable using them. The photos attached to this review show exactly what we found — this is not an exaggeration. And the floors were even worse. After just around 20 minutes of walking around the apartment in socks, the bottoms of our socks were completely black from the dirt on the floor. This says everything about how thoroughly the apartment had been cleaned before our arrival. We are not expecting luxury or a five-star hotel. However, clean bed linen, clean towels, hand soap, toilet paper and properly cleaned floors are basic requirements for any accommodation. What makes this even more disappointing is that we paid for this apartment expecting a normal, clean place to stay in Nice, but instead we spent our stay questioning whether anything had actually been cleaned or changed before we arrived. We absolutely do not recommend this apartment. If cleanliness and basic hygiene matter to you, I strongly suggest choosing somewhere else. This was not a minor inconvenience or a matter of personal preference — the level of cleanliness was simply unacceptable. The attached photos speak for themselves.

Awesome location

Excellent balcony and wonderful location

Couldn't get in for over an hour as there was no key in the lockbox. The balcony area had old cigarettes on the table

Great booking.

Great, place. I stayed at the unit 35 which has a big terrace with chairs and place to dry your clothes. It was a huge plus.

4 / 10

Very small for family of 4 in good location.

Location is good

Terrace is useless in summer. It is big, but AC unit blowing directly to seating area that was also not clean. Appartement is very small and there os no place to put your clothes and luggage, no hangers at all, no cabinet/wardrobe. Not good fit for 4 people.

Odlicna lokacija

7 / 10Good·Jan 2026
