Location.
Quiet at night away from the main hustle and bustle.
And I really appreciated the upgrade to a larger room.
Some of the fittings were loose and need repairing (toilet roll holder and shower head).
Also, the vanity light in the bathroom did not work and should be replaced.
[Nothing to do with the property per se, but watch out for taxi drivers trying to rip you off. One driver tried to charge me 5x the normal price, until I realised what was happening as he refused to turn on the meter (saying it would work out cheaper, which was rubbish).
I mentioned this to the hotel manager when I arrived (I had the taken down the driver’s registration plate) and the manager said he would make a complaint to prevent other non-Turkish speaking tourists being treated in a similar fashion].
