Carlton Hotel

Great location, very comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Phil (Chef) and Selma (manager) were fantastic hosts, very friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast was perfect and plenty of it.

The Carlton has been recently acquired by the owners of the hotel next door. They are spending a lot improving it. We went at the end of the season and the outside looked a bit run down. Don't be deceived though, Selma explained their plans and its going to be excellent when finished. Right now, inside has been redecorated and recarpetted. The lounge is excellent and in the summer, the gardens will look like you're on a tropical island.

I was booked into CARLTON HOTEL. When i arrived at the hotel i was upgraded to the villa mentone hotel next door, wich is a very nice hotel and the staff very helpful.

No one was present at Carlton Hotel when we arrived. Eventually another resident arrived and told us to find assistance in hotel next door which was a partner
