The apartment is spacious, but extremely dirty. I would never stay here again. We should have contacted the owner on the

only positive things about this apartment are its size, location, and the fact that it is equipped with many useful appliances, including a vacuum cleaner, coffee machine, iron, toaster, and so on. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.

1. Cleanliness The apartment was very dirty. The kitchen had been poorly cleaned, the toaster was absolutely filthy, and the area under the sink was completely unhygienic. When I opened the cupboard under the sink, I was genuinely shocked by what I saw. 2. The bed One of the two beds has unstable legs and creaks extremely loudly. It is practically impossible to sleep on it because every little noise wakes you up. 3. Windows, balconies, and curtains It seems that nobody has ever bothered to clean the windows or balconies. All the curtains were stained as well. 4. Cats There is a strong smell of cats in the building’s entrance. I could have overlooked this, as cats are a familiar part of everyday life and local culture in Cyprus. However, one of the cats seemed to be living in the apartment. Every evening, from around 9 p.m. until midnight, it would scratch and try to get inside. It was very noisy, and I genuinely felt sorry for the cat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t let it in because the apartment itself was so dirty. 5. The TV box and the owner’s attitude The owner knew that the TV box was broken. On the first day, we couldn’t get it to work at all. The following day, he came over, pretended to fix something, and told us that if it stopped working, we simply needed to restart it. In reality, the device is completely unusable. Every time we want to watch TV, we have to spend around 30 minutes repeatedly restarting it. It keeps switching itself off and fails to load movies. What disappointed me most was the owner’s attitude. I contacted him about these problems, but he simply ignored my messages. Overall, I would never repeat this experience. I am writing this review to warn other travellers and help them make an informed decision. This is my most recent and up-to-date experience, and I hope it helps others avoid the same disappointment.

Unvergesslich
