The rooms and halls were stunning!! And the bar downstairs has really nice pizza and the cannolis were AMAZING still craving them.
Perfect spot, close to everything and free parking on the street very close

Honestly we loved this hotel, for the price and location it was great and will definitely reconsider booking here next time we are in Sydney!
The only downside was the smell of cigarette being on top of a pub, the room wasn’t a bad smell just when you walk out of your room.

Empire Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Recently updated large rooms with comfy bed and clean ensuite. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. Good location close to busses to central station. The pub downstairs has good woodfired pizza if you don't want to travel out.
The rooms could use a few hooks for towels to dry and an area separate from the basin for tea making facilities. The floorboards were rather loud but this is an older hotel so expected.
